A Legacy of Courage & Service

Since 1920, the Andover Fire Department has been the backbone of emergency services in our community. What began as a volunteer crew with a single apparatus has grown into a professional, well-equipped department serving Andover and the surrounding region.

Our dedicated team of career and volunteer firefighters train continuously to handle every emergency — from structure fires and vehicle collisions to medical crises and natural disasters. We believe prevention is just as important as response, which is why we invest heavily in community education and fire safety inspections.
